The fast f/2.8 aperture is available across the focal range of the lens, giving you great subject separation and creamy bokeh, with the option of closing down the aperture for fantastic sharpness across the image.

The optical engineering in the NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/2.8 VR includes one ED glass element and two aspherical elements, which combine to reduce and minimise chromatic aberration in your images and videos.

The NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/2.8 VR is small and light, making your system easy to carry around all day and night.

 

Focusing system: IF (internal focusing system)

Fast, accurate autofocus using an STM (stepping motor) makes it easy for you to get the image you want when the moment arrives.

Controls: Zoom ring, clickless control ring

The rubber zoom ring covers a large area of the lens body, making it easy to use, and the control ring can be set to control a number of different camera functions.

 

Filter size: 67mm

Easily add readily available filters, such as UV, polarising, neutral density and more, for creative effects.

 

Minimum focus distance: 0.15m (at 16mm), 0.18m (at 24mm), 0.21m (at 35mm), 0.25m (at 50mm)

The short minimum focus distance on the NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/2.8 VR gives you opportunities to get very close to your subject and get creative with composition.
